Policy of the magazine
The scientific
magazine "Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin", founded in 1994 by
Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K. D.
Ushinsky and the
Department of Education of the Yaroslavl Region Government,
became the first
edition of this kind in the Yaroslavl region. Headings of the
magazine
correspond to the profile of the scientific schools,
specialities of
aspirantura, doctorantura and Dissertation Councils of YSPU
named after K. D.
Ushinsky.
The
first-priority position in the magazine is taken by
psychological-pedagogical
range of problems, questions concerning state and reforming of
the education
systems, organization of the educational and up-bringing process
in
comprehensive and higher school, systems of pre-school and
further education.
The important position is given to the questions of preparation
scientific-pedagogical and teaching staff, development of ways
of training in
comprehensive and higher school. The magazine publishes articles
on urgent
problems of the Humanities and Natural sciences – Russian and
World
History, Economics, Science of Culture, Art Criticism, the
Theory of Language,
Literary Criticism, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics,
Chemistry, Biology,
Geography, Pedagogics and Psychology
Authors of the
articles are professors, teachers, doctoral candidates and
post-graduate
students of the University, scientists of Institutions of the
Russian Academy
of Sciences, Russian Academy of Education, and other scientific
organizations. Among
the authors of articles there are specialists from Europe,
America, Asia and
Africa. In publications of Yaroslavl scientists and their
colleagues from other
educational and scientific institutions of Russia, work results
on first-rate
grands and scientific programmes are presented. Practice of
joint publications
of experienced and beginning scientists is very important and it
reflects
dynamics of scientific schools and assists to form modern
Russian scientific
environment.
The articles
are
reviewed by the members of the editorial board of the magazine,
it consists of
famous specialists from Russian and foreign Universities and
scientific
organizations. The main criteria for publication are
correspondence to the
paradigm of the magazine, urgency and scientific originality of
the presented
materials and correspondence to the up-to-date publishing
requirements.
